I have been asked many questions about using a generator set with a Sunsynk inverters so I've made this very short video just to explain some of the key benefits

If using more than one inverter you can only connect the generator via the grid side so your suggestion is perfect, ensure the generator can handle the full load as well as charge the batteries

When using the Wind turbine you must have a converter box which will take the three-phase from the wind turbine convert to DC some smoothing caps and a limiting resistor. You also need a turbine that has a voltage of 150 V to 350 V

Hi Keith. Can use the ats/no relay in parallel connection (single-phase) to start the gen With the gen connected on the incoming main supply (not on the gen-ports of the inverter). I have a big generator with its own ATS that will start if the batteries are depleted on my existing single inverter. we want to add a second inverter in parallel to increase the ups side.

Hi Keith, what about using a wind turbine? We are thinking of using a Bornay 3kW wind turbine on the input as described in the manual. What do we need to keep in mind to connect the turbine to the turbine input?
