Dear Keith,

Sorry to say, but there is NO Sunsynk support in South Africa.


I've been trying since 1st of November 2023 to get 4 issues resolved on a 3.6kw Lifelynk.

1. After loading shedding when power comes back on battery SOC drops to 0% and unit trips out.

2.The battery capacity indicates 0ah.

3. The battery temperature indicates 0 C.

4. The most important issue that is driving the customer crazy is the fan (which is very noisy) comes on every 20 minutes and run for 20 minutes day and night.


I've opened numerous tickets and sent many emails. The tickets just get closed " issues resolved "


The product may be good, but support is useless.

There is support you need to contact through the main telephone number. Incidentally I can expedite this to our customer service department. Do you have a telephone number please

My app logs me out and when i come back in i can find my plants on the app

HI Good morning, what a beautiful hot day in Margate South Africa...

Team please can someone answer why have SUNSYNK been "OFF LINE" for 2 days now.. no details on my app.. and there was no notifications about it..

I had my system check out and its working fine when looking at the onbord controls..

The OFFLINE problem is due to a crash of Sunsynk's UK server.

It's happened quite a few times since the migration of the portal from China ("Region 1") to the UK ("Region 2"), but never as long as today (3 March 2024).

Our Plants have gradually come back online this morning, but the connections are still patchy.

Make sure your inverter's Time and Date are still correct- they got messed up with the outage. That affects your discharge profile...
