If you need to add a neutral to earth and they should only be done while Inverter is in Island mode as it may cause problems upstream. By connecting a 240 V Relay between the neutral and earth, (normally open contacts) and the coil to the A/T/S signal as shown in the video then this can complete the bond when the inverter is running off grid

Hi Keith and team,
With regards to the ATS signal and the connection to the grid I have a setup where the Inverter is 20 meters away from main DB so I want the Inverter AC Input cables to be earthed i.e. the Inverter AC input is wired downstream from the main earth leak.
The issue that I have is the signal (and I saw it do it in this video) is stopped simultaneously as the connection to the grid is made which then trips most RCD devices (I have tried a couple different brands and they all seem react the same way).
This means I either need to use the grid as a signal which potentially creates a floating…
iperation is to slow to meet requirements of bs7671
Where is this relay connections on the Sunsynk 8kw inverter
Hi,
Most Recent SunSynk 5K single phase system no longer has the A/T/S Terminals (although the Island signal box is present in the software)... Does this mean the Earth Neutral Bond has been incorporated into the Hardware and will be enabled in a future Software release?
Pretty much removes the (excellent I might add) UPS function completely if not!
Could you please maybe post a diagram of the layout that is needed, I got a UPS that makes the SunSynk Earth leakage go down as it checks for the earth and gets upset? Taken it out of the equation for now.
Then second thing when the grid goes offline you get that light glow coming from a LED light which I believe is pointing to a floating neutral
